An ideal base for exploring the surrounding attractions, from the beaches of the Livorno coast to Volterra and Pisa, all the way to Florence. Strategically located close to Pisa Airport and the ferry terminal in Livorno.

Just a three-minute walk away is Piazza Garibaldi, the heart of Casciana Terme, with its charming café. The town offers several restaurants, a herbal shop, a family-run bakery, an excellent gelateria, and swimming pools fed by the famous thermal waters of Casciana Terme. A small supermarket, a weekly food market, and a pharmacy are also within walking distance.

This charming Tuscan hill town is an ideal starting point for day trips by car to many fascinating destinations, including Pisa (30 minutes), Volterra (40 minutes), Lucca (45 minutes), San Gimignano (60 minutes), and Florence (60 minutes). The Tyrrhenian coast can be reached in just 40 minutes. Casciana Terme is also a recommended stop for several cycling routes (for example, on Bikemap). The apartment, Terrazza sulla Luna, is often booked during major regional events such as the annual concert at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico (July), the Luminara di San Ranieri in Pisa (June), and Lucca Comics & Games (November). Being only a three-minute walk from the main square, the apartment is also ideal for attending local events such as the Festa dei Rioni in May, when the town’s four districts compete in a spectacular festival, and the Festa di San Genesio in August, dedicated to children and packed with fun activities. Equipped with air conditioning, the apartment features two double bedrooms and a spacious living room/kitchen with a sofa bed, accommodating up to 5 guests in total. One of the bedrooms includes a desk suitable for smart working. The renovated bathroom has a large shower; there is no bidet.
