Located in the picturesque landscape of the Chianti hills, where the land is painted in the vivid colours of olive groves, vineyards and woods, this flat is in front of the Borgo di Monteriggioni nestled in the heart of Tuscany. From the splendid outdoor spaces with the beautiful shared swimming pool you have an exceptional view of the castle of Monteriggioni. The village of Monteriggioni is surrounded by the intact circle of its towers that encircle its historic core and finds a place in Italian literature as the inspiration for the supreme poet Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy.
In less than 15 minutes you can visit the city of Siena, made famous by the Palio, held every year in July and August in the fascinating setting of Piazza del Campo. It will be fascinating to delve into its historical centre, divided into 17 Contrade, and try to reconstruct its history. Here you can visit the Palazzo Pubblico, with the Torre del Mangia, which adorns the beautiful Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral with its ‘facade’, from which you can admire an enchanting panorama of the city and surrounding countryside, the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo and the Pinacoteca Nazionale. Less than an hour away is the city of Florence with its famous museums and world-famous monuments.
The area also offers nature excursions both on foot and by e-bike along the Via Francigena and is full of small restaurants where you can enjoy typical local dishes while enjoying the Chianti landscape.

Hermosa estadía! Alojamiento de 10/10. Vistas impecables y contaba con todos los servicios, muy amable quien nos recibió. Recomendamos y volveríamos. Entorno precioso y muy bien ubicado. Quedamos encantados!

wij voelden ons direct thuis bij de famiglia ! nono en nona, hun kinderen + kleinkinderen, die allen op het domein wonen waren allen super vriendelijk en heel warm.
eventuele taal issues werden met de mantel der liefde toegedekt en opgelost (google translate) :-)
zalig verlof !
de woonst was geweldig, het uitzicht op Monteriggioni onbetaalbaar. leuk zwembad, voor ons voldoende privacy, goede accomodatie,...
goede locatie voor uitstapjes : afstand tot Siena : 30 minuten met de auto. San Giminiano : 45 minuten, Volterra en Firenze op iets minder dan een uur. Lucca 1,5 uur. wij vonden een rental (of eigen) auto echt wel handig.
de Chianti tour is iets voorde volgende keer :-)
ook super lekker eten in verschillende goeie restaurantjes in Monteriggioni (5 minuten met de auto).
Eigen klein keukentje met alle voorzieningen en de bakker en supermarkt op een kleine 10 minuutjes... ideaal voor ontbijtje, koffietje,... met veel hoekjes op het domein
wij gaan zeker nog eens terug :-)
